LORD CROMER.
AM) THE SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OK CRUELTY TO ANIMALS. (Received 22, 8.-10 a.in.) London, May 21. The supporters of Mr. Stephen Coleridge’s motion at the meeting of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, calling on Lord Cromer to resign the vice-presidency, included many women. The vote has to come before the council of the society, and it is possible another general meeting will he convened, or a referendum taken of all members, owing to Lord Cromer’s great services in the protection of animals in Egypt.
