The Chief of the French Police issued a statement in Paris on Sunday stating that since October 13 the French police have started to conduct a large-scale campaign against dangerous elements. Large stores of explosives, arms and other destructive weapons have been discovered in French homes. The police service has suffered several losses, yet its task is far from being accomplished.
