Figures For October
After an unexpected spurt in building activity in Invercargill in September, the amount of building authorized in October fell sharply. Permits to the value of £6OlB/9/- were issued from the city engineer’s office for Octobercompared with £16,489/8/- in September and £24,206/3/- in October of last year. Alterations to business premises were again the principal item in the permits. Details of the permits issued last month were as follows:—
