BREACHES OF REGULATIONS BY PLUMBERS’ MERCHANT (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, October 27. E. Hayton, plumbers’ merchant, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court today to nine charges of breaches of the control regulations relating to sheet iron. On four charges involving supplies to two other plumbers he was convicted and fined £2O on each charge, and on five other charges relating to the transfer of material to Metal Workers, Ltd., a subsidiary company, he was convicted and ordered to pay costs. The fines and costs totalled £lO3.
