TRANSPORT OF U.S. TROOPS
(Rec. 10.50 p.m.) NEW YORK, Oct 26. Speaking at Pittsburgh, Captain Leland Lovette, chief of Navy Public Relations, made the statement that the Navy had transported 600,000 American soldiers overseas without the loss of a single man.
