RAILWAY NOTICES The following Timetable Alterations will operate on and after Tuesday, 27 th October, 1942. The 11.2 p.m. Christchurch—Dunedin express train will run on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday only. The 7.0 a.m. Invercargill-Christchurch express train on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday will run earlier leaving Invercargill 6.15 a.m., Lyttelton Wharf arrive 7.8 p.m. connecting with steamer express. The 9.45 pm. Dunedin-Lyttelton Wharf passenger train will NOT run on Monday and will run to Christchurch only. The 6.10 a.m. Invercargill-Clinton train will not run. The 7.52 a.m. Ma-taura-Gore and 6.40 a.m. InvercargillClinton trains will run daily except Sunday. The 6.30 a.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Edie vale to Waipahi Road Motor will leave Edievale 5.50 a.m. and run earlier to Waipahi (connects with 6.15 a.m. express from Invercargill). 4608 TROTTING MEETING AT INVERCARGILL: 31st OCTOBER. Train Arrangements.—The DunedinInvercargill Mail train and Morning train to Invercargill, also evening train to Clinton, stops opposite Racecourse for passengers. Evening trains from Invercargill delayed as follows:—For Clinton 5.40 p.m. (Racecourse 6.0 and Gore 8.20), does NOT connect with Waipahi-Edievale bus. For Tuatapere and Wairio, 5.55 p.m., for Lumsden 6.20 p.m.
