WIN FOR SOUTHLANDER (Rec. 9.50 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 21. Eric Boon, the British lightweight champion, knocked-out Jake Kilrain, of Scotland, in the second round of a charity tournament at the Queensbury Club. George Muir (13.1), of Southland, New Zealand, outpointed Jim Wilde (15.8), of Wales, in an eight-round preliminary bout. Muir scored frequently with a massive right swing to Wilde’s face. Muir’s victory was most popular. The crowd booed the Boon-Kilrain decision.
