Mrs J. F. Field Wins Stead Cup The Stead Cup golf tournament, which was concluded at Queen’s Park yesterday, I was won by Mrs J. F. Field with Mrs G. E. Glennie runner-up. Both belong to the Queen’s Park Club. Tire Amateur Sports Cup for B grade players was won by Mrs A. D. Reid (Gore) with Mrs G. Caldwell < (Queen’s Park) runner-up. The teams' match was won by Mrs Gorman (Chisholm Park), Mrs M. Fairbrother (Invercargill). Mrs J. F. Field and Mrs M. Watt (Queen’s Park). In a bogey match played in the afternoon Mrs Field won the senior grade and Mrs Fairbrother tire junior. At the conclusion of play the trophies were presented by Mrs S. C. K. Smith, president of the Queen’s Park Ladies' Golf Club. Members of all visiting clubs except Wyndham were among the prize-winners.
