(P.A.) WELLINGTON. October 19. Allan D. Crane, .aged 18 IL a son of Mrs M. M. Crane, of 75 William street, Petone, was accidentally killed at Featherston on Saturday when his motor-cycle collided with a train at a railway crossing. He was on holiday before entering the Air Force. DEATH FROM NECK INJURY (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, October 19. Suffering from a dislocated neck when he was involved in a motor-car accident last Thursday, Elennell Nelson Thayer, town clerk of Opunake, died in the Hawera hospital today. He was 36 years of age. PILOT FALLS FROM PLANE (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 19. Leading Aircraftman John Robert Jones, a pupil pilot, received slight concussion and was admitted to hospital when he fell from an aircraft during flying training at a South Island station this afternoon. He descended by parachute. His wife lives at Wellington.
