Cloudy With Drizzle (Special) WELLINGTON, October 18. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate northerly winds predominating. The weather cloudy with occasional drizzle or rain; temperatures moderate. The weather in Invercargill on Saturday was cold with a strong north-westerly wind. Yesterday the weather was calm, fine and sunny. The weather at 1 o’clock this morning was mild, calm and partly overcast. The barometer reading was 29.89 in (falling). The Tides.—High water, Invercargill, 10.49 a.m.; 11.19 p.m. Bluff. 10.08 a.m.; 10.38 p.m. Riverton. 9.08 a.m.; 9.38 p.m. Oreti Beach, 9.17 a.m.; 9.47 p.m. The Sun.—Rises 5.45 a.m.; sets 7.20 p.m.
