SPRING FLOWER SHOW

The Waikiwi branch of the W.D.F.U. held a successful spring flower show in the Waikiwi hall. Mrs A. Wachner, Mayoress, opened the show, and was presented with a shoulder spray by Mrs A. Waters, the president. The following are the prize-winners in each section: Narcissus. Mr T. Meadows: cut flowers, Mrs R. MacGregor; floral decorations, Mrs Steel; vegetables, Mrs A. Waters; produce, jams and pickles, Mrs Steel; industrial, Mrs G. Waters; champion flower, Mrs Steel; most points in show, Mrs Steel.
