CIVILIAN CASUALTIES IN AIR RAIDS
(8.0.W.) RUGBY, October 15. Civilian casualties from enemy air raiding in the United Kingdom during the year ended September 3, 1942, were:—3224 killed or missing, believed killed, and 4061 injured, detained in hospital. During September 207 persons were killed and 238 injured. The figures for August were 403 killed and 509 injured and for July 411 killed and 871 injured.
