Dates have now been fixed for the various centres as follows:—Dunedin, October 21; Auckland, October 28; Wellington, November 5; New Plymouth, early in November. The New Plymouth committee was the last one to begin activities and yet in a short space of time it has secured a splendid collection of gifts. Any late gifts should be forwarded to the city auction concerned immediately so that they can be included in the supplementary catalogue. Gifts will be received up to two or three days before the sale. At 7 o'clock this evening Mr H. B.
