NEW ZEALAND AIRMEN DECORATED

(Special Correspondent, N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, October 14. At Buckingham Palace the King awarded Distinguished Flying Medals to Flight-Lieutenant J. P. Barrow (Gisborne), Pilot Officer C. A. Armstrong (Devonport), Warrant Officer O. W. Thompson (Waipiro ’Bay) and also the Air Force Medal to Pilot Officer D. P. Phillips (Wellington). Mr W. J. Jordan, the New Zealand High Commissioner, congratulated them at the New Zealand Forces Club. Pilot Officer Armstrong and Warrant Officer Thompson both fought at Malta. They are all now instructors.
