TWO SOLDIERS WOUNDED

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, October 15. A rifle discharged in a Military area today resulted in two soldiers, lan Jones and R. Bell, being wounded. They were taken to a public hospital, where this afternoon Jones's condition was reported to be serious and Bell's as satisfactory. BODY OF SOLDIER FOUND (P.A.) AUCKLAND, October 15. The dead body of a United Nations soldier was found early this morning by a shunter in the railway goods yards on the top of a freezing van attached to a train which arrived from Frankton last night. It was subsequently, identified as that of Private Grady Emmett Bush. Death was due to head injuries. An inquest is to be held. FRACTURED LEG Mr James Horman, of Aparima, farmer, aged 39, was admitted to the Southland Hospital yesterday suffering from a compound fracture of the left leg received when working on his farm.
