FLORAL EMBLEMS FOR AUCTION—A beautiful floral emblem in the form of an aeroplane is to be put up for auction during the concert to be given by the band of the Royal New Zealand Air Force in the Civic Theatre tonight. The emblem is made up of daffodils, grape hyacinths and freesias. Another emblem, a Victory V made of daffodils and freesias, will also be put up to auction. The proceeds from both will go to the prisoners-of-war fund. The emblems were made by Ford’s, florists, Esk street, and were given by the firm to the patriotic fund.
