W.A.A.F. PARTY ARRIVES IN INVERCARGILL

A party of 45 members of the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force from a northern air station arrived in Invercargill by the express last night to take part in the recruiting parade which is to be held in the city today. They were under the control of Miss W. Smith. Members of the Women’s War Service Auxiliary will also take part in the parade. The girls were welcomed by the Mayor, Mrs A. Wachner, and later met the citizens who had offered to billet them during their stay in Invercargill.
