The following office-bearers were elected. President, Mr G. S. McLeod; vice-presidents. Mr F. J. McKenzie; secretary and treasurer, Mr D. Dunlop-Young; club captain, Mr D. G. Williamson; women's captain, Miss A. Sherboume; committee, Messrs Townsend and McKenzie, Misses Sherboume, J. Paterson, L. Wallis and I. Perry; auditor, Mr P. RCraig; delegates to the Eastern Southland Lawn Tennis Sub-Association, Messrs McLeod and Williamson. It was decided to hold the opening day of the club on November 7. A decision was made to recommend to the Eastern Southland Sub-Association that the payment of affiliation fees be waived this season. PERSONAL— Driver Kenneth Stark, of Gore, who returned to camp yesterday, was met by the Mayor, Mr W. D. Shelton, before his departure and presented with a cheque on behalf of the citizens of the town.
