VOICE FROM THE CROWD.
Sir,—May I reply to “Soldier’s Mother”? She is not the only one whose son has had to go away. Millions more are getting just as tough a time as she is. I think “Soldier’s Mother” has placed a terrible slur on the doctors of the country, also on grade 3 men who enlisted with the first, second and third echelons and who did not have to he conscripted. Some had just as big families as “Soldier’s Wife.” They are not squealing, but are fighting for victory. Also I might add that glasses do not get you out of the army. ENLISTED 2ND ECHELON.
