Fairbrother, Avenal Flats, has returned from a few days spent in Dunedin. m ± , Mrs D. M. Richardson, Tweed street, left on Saturday on a visit to Christchurch. A t Mrs A. G. Greentree, Mitchell street, left last night to spend a week in Christchurch. Mrs C. C. N. Johnston, Wellington, was hostess at morning tea in the Tudor Lounge on Saturday. A further supply of uniforms for the W.W.S.A. has arrived in Invercargill and has been. issued to members, who will parade on Wednesday. Miss Phyllis Duggan, of Princes street, Invercargill, left by last nights express to join the W.A.A.F. at a northern station. ENGAGEMENT The engagement is announced of Audrey Mae, only daughter of Mr and Mrs W. F. H. Stone, Earnslaw street, to O. Signalman Robert, only son of Mr and Mrs G. McMillan, Otautau. 0J286
