Y.M.C.A. HUT AT RECRUIT TRAINING DEPOT

The work of erecting the new Y.M.C.A. hut at the recruit training depot is to begin next week. An area for the hut has been prepared. Authority to erect this hut was received from Wellington several weeks ago, but delay occurred when it was decided to alter the original plans to permit of the erection of a more substantial type of building. The new hut is badly needed, as ever since the depot was established the work of the Y.M.C.A. there has been carried on in makeshift accommodation which is far from satisfactory.
