CADET AMBULANCE DIVISION

A little over a year ago a Cadet Nursing Division was formed by the St. John Ambulance Brigade in Invercargill. As this is now flourishing it is proposed to form a cadet ambulance division whereby boys who have preliminary certificates in first aid may further their studies, while those who would like to gain a knowledge of the rudiments of first aid may receive competent instruction. With SO many men overseas this seems especially necessary. Boys could be trained in stretcher work to fill the places of those on active service. Any boy between the age of 11 and 16 years may join, provided that he is not a member of a school division. Any one desiring to join is asked to be present at headquarters, Esk street, at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
