Late News BRITONS PUT IN CHAINS
DIEPPE PRISONERS (Rec. 2.15 a.m.) LONDON, October 8. The Germans have manacled and put in chains every soldier captured in the raid on Dieppe, according to the German radio. This is a reprisal for the alleged tying-up of Germans captured in the British raid on Sark on Saturday night.
