MEDICAL EXAMINATION COMPLETED. —The medical examination of the 1380 men in the No. 12 military area drawn in the last ballot was completed yesterday. It is understood that men who have been passed fit and are not the subject of appeal will be required to proceed to camp in the near future. 930 APPEALS.— The number of appeals concerning men in the last ballot received by the Southland Armed Forces Appeal Board is now 930. It is not expected that this number will be greatly increased. It represents more than 67 per cent, of the total number of men in the No. 12 military area drawn in the ballot. RESIGNATIONS OF MINISTERS.—OfficiaI acceptance of the resignations of Messrs S. G. Holland, W. A. Bodkin, W. J. Broadfoot and W. J. Polson as members of the Executive Council was Gazetted last night. In separate notices the resignation from similar positions of the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates and the Hon. Adam Hamilton, and also their reappointment as members of the Executive Council, are Gazetted. —P.A.
