Mrs J. McHardy, Nith street, is the guest of her sister, Mrs W. Strang, Waimatuku. , Ml** D. O’Brien, postmistress at Orepuki, is at present on annual leave and is spending her holidays in the n °Mrs E. J. Conlan, Ngapara, and Miss Bourke, Rakaia, have been spending a short holiday -with Mrs M. Stanton, Riversdale. .... , r Mr and Mrs I. C. Millar, formerly of Gore, were guests of honour at a function in the Killinchy district before their departure for Mr Millar’s new position at the Douglas school. Mrs Millar also received gifts from the Women’s Institute and the Red Cross subcentre.
