BLUFF NEWS
PERSONAL.— Sergeant-Pilot J. Johnson returned recently to Bluff from overseas. Mrs W. A. H. Oliver, of Invercargill, visited the Red Cross rooms at Bluff on Tuesday and demonstrated to many interested onlookers, the methods of doing papier mache work.
Y.M.C.A.— To wind up its winter activities a final night was held at a military camp. On this occasion the guests were the members of the local Y.M.C.A. committee and their friends, and the entertainment was arranged by the soldiers, assisted by Invercargill performers. Dancing was also enjoyed. Captain Dunn and Lieutenant Dudley Wills were present and on behalf of the members of the Bluff Y.M.C.A. the Rev. A. M. Ferguson thanked tire men for an enjoyable evening.
