COLLEGIATE LADIES’ CRICKET CLUB
There was a good attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Collegiate Ladies’ Cricket Club last night. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted. The following office-bearers were elected: Patron, Mr A. V. Poole; president, Mr Eardly Bell; vice-presidents, Mesdames Bell, Ingram and McNee, Messrs S. G. Mitchell, C. J. Haberfiield, G. Agnew, V. Poole and G. F. Gunn; secretary and treasurer, Miss L. Skeoch; committee, Misses M. Duggan, D. Williams, I. Ackers, B. Ingram and L. Skeoch; material committee, Mrs J. Ferguson, Misses M. Sylvester and L. Skeoch; delegates, Misses W. Gunn, J. Swale and B. Allen; club captain, Miss J. Swale; coach, Miss R. O. King; social committee, Misses L. Congrleve, F. Watt and D. Shirley; auditor, Mr C. W. Francis. It was decided to hold the opening day on October 17, when members of the Union Cricket Club will be present. The first practice will be held on Saturday at Doon street.
