RADIANT HEALTH CLUB

A successful year was reviewed at the ninth annual meeting of the Southland Radiant Health Club held in the Y.M.C.A. last night. Twenty meetings had been held and the physical exercise classes had been popular, it was stated. A number of new members had joined and it was gratifying to note that the club was in a good financial position. The president, Mrs George Reid, in her address said she hoped that more members would join the club and get the benefit of the fortnightly lectures on health and diet. The following office-bearers were elected: President, Mrs George Reid; vice-presidents, Mesdames J. Mark, L. M. Taylor and M. Boyce; secretary, Mrs Hugh Hamilton; assistant secretary, Mrs K. Garden; drill instructor, Mrs Mark. Thanks were extended to the pianist, Mrs L. Ward, and to Mrs Boyce for bringing flowers to the rooms each evening. Mrs Reid commented on the amount of work done during the year by the secretary, Mrs Hamilton.
