PERSONAL

Second Lieutenant G. L. Sadd, Southland Regiment, has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Mi- J. Murray Wilson left Invercargill by the express yesterday for Dunedin. He will return home tomorrow night. Mr J. Robson, postmaster at Tokanui, began two weeks’ annual leave yesterday. During his absence his duties will be carried out by Mr S. A. Kelly, of Waikaka. Mr and Mrs J. Dawson, Glencoe, have received advice that their son, Douglas Dawson, who is training- for the Air Force in Canada, has been promoted to the rank of sergeant.
