NEW ZEALAND GIRLS IN AIR AUXILIARY

(Rec. 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, August 31. Three New Zealand girls are now serving in the Air Transport Auxiliary, Misses Trevor Hunter and Jane Winstone, both of Wanganui, and Miss Betty Black, of Dunedin. Miss Hunter and Miss Black have both got their wings. Miss Winstone, who recently arrived, is at present carrying out preliminary training. Their job is chiefly to ferry aircraft from the factories to Royal Air Force stations.
