(Special) DUNEDIN, September 1. The Dunedin Competitions Society’s annual festival was continued tonight, when several Southland competitors were successful. Shirley M. Harvey' (Browns) was very highly commended among 17 competitors in the class for ballet dance, operatic other than toe, for girls 10 to 13. In the vocal ‘solo for girls 16 to 19, Miss Helen Kay Johnson (Gore) was highly commended and Miss Phyllis Thompson (Winton) was commended. There were 20 competitors Miss C.
