WELCOME EXTENDED TO MR FRASER
(Rec. 7.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 27. Under the heading “A Visitor from New Zealand,” The New York Times in a leading article says: “Mr Fraser is our old friend and there is nothing more to say except that Americans like him and his countrymen even more than they did before.” The newspaper then gives an extensive laudatory, description of New Zealand, which, it says, is doing its utmost to keep democracy from extinction.
