GORGE ROAD.— The annual report states that the average payout for first grade butterfat for the 1940-41 season, amounted to 18.5 d a pound butterfat, and the average for all grades of butterfat amounted to 18.491 d. For the present season (1941-42) the advance payment for first grade milk was 1/3 a pound butterfat. Since tire closing of the books a final bonus of 3*/ 2 d has been paid, thus making the total payout for first grade milk for the season 1/6‘/ 2 , or an average of l/6.482d over all grades. The directors recommend the payment of a dividend at the rate of 3 per cent, on the paid-up capital of the company. The retiring directors are Messrs L. Houston and G. Stewart, who, being eligible, offer themselves for; reelection.
