Grant, of Waikaia, has received advice that her husband, Lieutentnt D. G. Grant, formerly of the teaching staff of the Gore High School, has been discharged from hospital. Lieutenant Grant was wounded during the fighting in Libya and Egypt. Mrs McGowan, Earnslaw street, has received a. cable from her son, Private N. F. McGowan, stating that he is safe and well.
