Following are the results of Thursday night’s table tennis matches: — Combined Doubles Championships.—First round: Hamilton and Miss M. McGrath beat Rabbitte and Miss Waddick 21-14, 21-13. Second round: Hamilton and Miss McGrath beat G. Hughes and Mrs Hynd 21-14, 21-19; Cullen and Miss A. Henderson beat H. Fems and Miss D. Fems 21-19, 21-11; J. Hughes and Miss V. Townsend beat M. Forde and N. Townsend 21-15, 11-21, 21-13; Breayley and Miss T. Ferns beat Woodward and Mrs Ferguson 21-10, 21-13. Semi-finals: Breayley and Miss T. Fems beat Hughes and Miss V. Townsend 21-11, 21-17; Hamilton and Miss McGrath beat Cullen and Miss Henderson 21-18, 21-14.
Combined Handicap.—Final: Breayley and Miss Henderson beat Curren and Miss Wilson, 31-23.
Open Handicaps.—Women’s Final: Miss O. Wilson beat Miss T. Fems, 31-29. Consolation Singles.—Women’s final: Miss M. Waddick beat Miss M. Townsend,. 31-29. Men’s final: T. Breayley beat F. Woodward, 32-30.
