NATIONAL SAVlNGS.— lnvercargill has a very good National Savings record. For 39 weeks in succession now the city has exceeded its quota of £2043. The Invercargill National Savings Committee hopes that for the reputation of the city this record will be maintained, but a special effort is needed if the quota is to be reached this week, as a sum of £l5OO is still required. .
