ORGANIZED PLAY ON CITY RESERVES

During the coming school holidays physical welfare officers are to conduct organized play and games for children at the children s playing ground between Yarrow and Don streets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at the playing area in the rose gardens (on the eastern side of the rotunda) on Wednesdays. The play and games will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 pan. each day. Permission for the use of the reserves for this purpose was granted by the City Council at its meeting last night when a letter, signed by Mrs W. M. Wilson and Mr H. C. Bradley, physical welfare officer at Invercargill, was received. The letter also stated that while all care would be taken, no responsibility for mishap could be accepted.
