SOVIET AIRCRAFT PRODUCTION
(Reill p.m.) LONDON, August 15. “The Russian aircraft industry is producing more heavily than last year,” said M. Yakovley, deputy People’s Commissar for Industry m a message on the occasion of Air Force Day tomorrow. He added that aircraft factories had been transferred to the rear beyond the reach of enemy planes. Hundreds of thousands of skilled workmen had been transplanted and production which had not ceased for a single day, was growing daily.
