APPEAL TO WOMEN.— An appeal to the women of New Zealand to give of their best in the war effort was made in a broadcast talk last night by Mrs M. M. Dreaver, M.P. for Waitemata. She spoke of how the women in Britain were digging in the fields, working in the factories, serving in the forces and carrying out fire-watching and other duties, and referred to what was being done by New Zealand women and girls. “Be ready, keep moving, never give in and victory is ours,” she declared.
