THE SOUTHLAND BRANCH OF THE CRIPPLED CHILDREN’S SOCIETY APPEALS FOR ASSISTANCE. THE FACTS ARE: (1) There are 110 children on the roll of the Southland Branch. (2) In the last financial year over £6OO was spent in sending children away for the advice of specialists; in transporting children to the hospitals for treatment; in payment for typewriting, music and dressmaking lessons, and in providing invalid chairs, surgical boots and general comforts.
