Before the sale of draughts the trotter Danny Malone was sold on account of Mr J. O'Shannessy for 200 guineas. The other trotters advertised were passed in except for a filly which realized II guineas. Prices for draughts were as follows: Four-year-old geldings £6 to £l6/10/-; 4-year-old mares, £lB to £l9; 5-year-old geldings £8 to £l2'. 5-year-old mares £lB to £2O; 6-year-old geldings £6 to £l2: 7-year-old gelding £24 (highest price this season); aged horses £6 to £lO. Harness sold at market values and joggers at £l4/10/-.
