In the morning: MILITARY PARADE WITH CITY BANDS , and YOUTH PARADE The -YOUTH PARADE, arranged by the Invercargill Traders’ Metropolitan Patriotic Assistance Committee will move off at 10.30 a.m. from Corner Leet and Dee Streets and proceed through the mam streets The MILITARY PARADE will march from Victoria Avenue at 11 a.m. The salute will be taken at the Town Hall by LieutenantColonel H. C. Mackenzie, officer commanding No. 12 military area, accompanied by the Mayor, Mr A, Wachner. Dr A. Owen-Johnston, president of the Invercargill R.SA. will take the salute at the Great War Memorial, and the salute at the South African War Memorial will be taken by Mr R. N. Todd, president of the South African War Veteran’s Association. The Youth Parade will be dismissed at the Town Hall, but the Military Parade will march back through the mam streets of the city.
