The judge was Miss Marjorie Fitzgerald. Pianoforte Duet.—lll: M. and S. Warring 1, C. Wilson and V. Fredric 2, M. O’Brien and M. O'Meara 3. IV: B. Fitzgerald and P. Beehan 1, B. Winders and M. McCaw 2. The judge was Miss M. Fitzgerald. Verse Speaking—Junior: Aquin (172pts) 1, Bosco (167pts) 2, Siena (160pts) 3. Senior: Aquin (252pts) 1, Siena (245pts) 2, Bosco (240pts) 3. The judge was Miss Marjorie Fitzgerald. Prepared Speeches.—Over 14: Recalls, M. Cameron, M. Winders, H. Binney, M. Cooney. The judge was Mr M. Fenton. Essay.—Under 14: B. Brown 1, N. Townsend 2, B. Filippini 3. Under 12: M. O’Meara 1, D. Hynes 2, M. McKillop and S. Double (equal) 3. A demonstration concert will be given by the prize-winners in St. Mary’s Hall on Sunday afternoon.
