DAIRY FACTORY REPORTS
The annual reports of the Grove Bush and Mabel Bush dairy factories disclose Increased production for the year ended July 31, 1942. The report of the Grove Bush factory states that advance payments for butterfat this season had been at the rate of 1/4 per lb. These payments gave an average for all grades of 1/3.97. During the previous season the average price for all grades was 1/5.98 a pound. However, it was estimated that a further 1.79 d a pound would be paid bringing the average of the present season up to 1/5.76 a pound of butterfat. MABEL FACTORY The advance payment for butterfat this season has been 1/4 per lb. This payment gives an average for all grades of l/3.99d. It is estimated that a further 1.86 d may be paid, states the directors’ report of the Mabel factory. The average for the whole of the previous season for all grades had been 1/5.24 per lb.
