BODY OF PENSIONER FOUND

The body of John Connor, aged 77, a pensioner, of Seaward Downs, was found caught in a fence some distance from his home. He had been missing since last Tuesday. Home Guardsmen made a search on Saturday and found the body. No inquest will be held as Dr J. H. Baird, of Wyndham, who had attended the deceased recently was able to give a death certificate. The police wish to convey their appreciation of the assistance given by members of the Home Guard who willingly turned out to help in the search.
