RELIEF OF AIR RAID VICTIMS
SOUTHLAND FUND NOW £1378 LIST OF DONATIONS The Southland Fund for the relief of distress among air raid victims in London now totals £1378/17/2. Contributions received on Saturday at The Southland Times office amounted to £3O/5/6. Contributions may be sent to the Editor, The Southland Times, or to the treasurer of the Southland Provincial Patriotic Fund (Mr W. F. Sturman). The proceeds of the national fitness rally, which are expected to amount to more than £2OO, will be given to the fund, while the sum of approximately £4O raised at a patriotic concert at Waimahaka on Saturday will also be given. , , The totals of the two funds are as follows: — £ The Southland Times Fund 295 Provincial Fund 1083 TOTAL 1378 SOUTHLAND TIMES FUND Following are the subscriptions received at The Southland Times office:—
