HIGHER VALUE OF AUGUST SHIPMENTS (British Official Wireless) (Received September 26, 6.30 p.m.) K RUGBY, September 25. The export of United Kingdom goods in August was valued at £32,554,729, compared with £31,189,244 for July and £37,076,974 a year ago. Imports totalled £95,019,856 compared with £87,007,530 for the previous month and £81,073,119 in August last year. Re-exports in these periods were respectively £1,391,968 and £1,819,264 and £4,488,380.
