SALE OF WORK IN STOBO HALL

SUM OF £lll RAISED BY PRESBYTERIANS The sum of £lll was raised at a sale of work conducted by the First Presbyterian Church Women’s Guild in Stobo Hall yesterday afternoon. The Busy Bee Hive, members of which gave items during the afternoon, had two stalls at the sale and received the sum of £l6, which will be devoted to the mission funds. The remaining stalls sold produce, sweets, and various articles and the £95 which was obtained, will be devoted to a fund for renovating the interior of the church. Much business was done during the afternoon and all the stalls received great attention.
