WRESTLING BLOMFIELD BEATEN BY McCREADY (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 23. Earl McCready won an unimpressive wrestling bout against Lofty Blomfield on points with one fall each tonight. Blomfield took a fall in the second round with the “octopus clamp” and McCready scored in the seventh by pinning Blomfield with a “jackknife.” Although there was a good deal of clean, straight wrestling with less hard jolting and frightfulness than in most of the season’s bouts, there were very few spectacular or notable episodes.
