UNITY OF GREEKS AND YUGOSLAVS
DETERMINATION TO AVOID WAR
(Received September 23, 8.30 p.m.) SALONIKA, September 22.
A visiting Yugoslavian Cabinet Minister, M. Ivan Andres, in a statement said that Yugoslavia and Greece were firmly united in the same resolve to safeguard their political and economic independence. They were determined to remain outside the conflict which was tearing Europe asunder. The Balkans, which showed a desire for mutual help in peace time were even more eager to co-operate now that they were beset with so many difficulties.
